EvolutaCONCRETE® is our proprietary GRC material developed specifically for outdoor kitchens and outdoor furniture. Concrete, but not as you expect it
When people hear the word concrete, they often think of something heavy, rough, cold, and massive. EvolutaCONCRETE® goes in a different direction. It's a GRC material—Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete. This structure allows surfaces to be thinner, lighter, and more precisely executed than traditional concrete elements, but without losing strength and stability.
It's precisely this combination that makes the difference. Evoluta kitchens don't look like concrete blocks. They have clean edges, calm surfaces, architectural precision, and the tactile depth of the material—concrete that is more refined, more elegant, and suitable for premium outdoor spaces.
Two years of work on surface protection
With outdoor kitchens, it's not enough to make a beautiful concrete slab. The real question is: what happens when wine, oil, lemon, salt, sauces, and everyday use come into contact with that surface? Work on impregnation and surface protection took more than two years—solutions from around the world were tested, but standard ones weren't sufficient. The goal was clear: the surface must be stain-resistant, easy to maintain, and safe for contact with food.
In the end, our own solution was developed that keeps EvolutaCONCRETE® looking natural while giving it the level of protection needed for real kitchen use. Every day.
Thin, strong, and precise
With traditional concrete, thin often means problematic. With EvolutaCONCRETE®, the fiber-reinforced structure allows greater strength with less thickness—worktops can be more refined, edges more precise, forms cleaner. EvolutaCONCRETE® is not just a design idea. It's tested according to relevant European standards for kitchen and worktops—density and water absorption, flexural strength, freeze-thaw resistance, thermal shock, abrasion, impact, chemical resistance, food contact, and resistance to cold liquids. At Evoluta, design and engineering are not separate: the material must enable the form, but also prove its performance.
Six tones for different spaces
EvolutaCONCRETE® comes in six concrete tones: pepper, concrete, ivory, olive, coffee, and terracotta. Ivory brings lightness and calm. Concrete maintains the classic neutrality of concrete. Pepper gives a darker, stronger character. Olive connects the kitchen with the Mediterranean landscape. Coffee brings warmth and depth. Terracotta carries an earthy, almost sunny tone of the south. Each tone can change the character of the same kitchen—at Evoluta, color is not just an aesthetic choice, but part of the architectural response to the space.
